verizon SUCKS!!!




Alrighty, let me vent out my story. I cannot explain to you how pissed and frustrated I am. I've had Verizon for almost 3 months ( I use to have alltel) and I've already had to call and complain to them 3 different times! UGHHHH.... ok the first problem. I got a bill in the mail for $120.00, then a second bill addressed to my dad came for $148.00. So I called Verizon and said "why do I have two bills? Is one a past due balance, do I have to pay both of these?" and the representative on the phone said "no you only have to pay the one for $120.00 the other bill was not ment to get sent out it was a mistake on our part." Second time I had to call, I was trying to pay my bill over the phone with my credit card. I tried paying this damn bill for a week and the stupid recording kept saying "you'r credit card identification number is wrong" I'm not stupid I know how to read the numbers on my credit card and type them into my phone! And there was nothing wrong with my credit card, I just used it the day before. Anyway, they shut my phone off!!!! So I called them and let me tell you, their representatives are not the nicest people, so I explained to the woman that I had been trying to pay my bill for a week now and it would'nt let me, and I need my phonw turned back on, well the idiot woman asked me " do you wanna pay by electronic check, its free?" Hell no I dont wanna pay by check, if I wanted to I would have used my debit card to pay, but I didn't have enough money in my checking account! So she finally turned my phone back on free of charge and gave me a week to pay my bill. Heres the cherry on type. I got a phone call today from verizon asking to speak to my dad, (the account use to be in his name) I answered the phone and told the woman I'm the accound holder and I've been payin the bill on my phone since 06 so whatever matter she needed to discuss she needs to do it with me because my dad would have no idea what was going on. The woman said I had a past due balance of $148.oo from OCTOBER!!! WTF!!!! so I said "ok, well if this is true why was I allowed to get a new phone in december and sign on for another contract, why didn't I have to pay the bill first or why wasnt this bill added on to my normal bill". and the woman responds with "thats not our responsibilty ma'am" well if you want your freaking money hell yeah its your responsibity. Then I said " ok well why is this the first time im hearing about this? Why havn't I gotten any phone calls, emails, regular mail, or anything on my verizon account? Why are you waiting almost 5 months to tell me about a past due bill?" and she resonds with "well you need to pay it within two weeks or its going to affect your dads credit" so I said fine and hung up. After that I rememberd I had a bill sent to my dads name for $148.00 along with my bill. Hmmm... when I called that representative a month earlier to ask about that bill didn't he tell me to disreguard it and that it was their mistake? Well I called verizon back and told a different lady about this and she said there is nothing she can do. What she ment it theres nothing she wants to do. Then my mom called and they wouldn't discuss anything with her because she wasnt my dad. so she said this is "my dad" and they still would'nt tell her anything. what if my dad had a sex change? That would have been discrimination, we could have sued them. So finally the woman on the phone was getting adjetated and said to my mom "ma'am you realize we have this all on recording?" and my mom said " you record every phone call" and the woman said yes, so my mom responded with "well then you have the recording of your representative telling my daughter she didn't have to pay that bill for $148.00" There was a few other words exchanged but we don't need to get into the petty stuff. Now I've been trying to log onto my verizon account and it keeps telling me "my verizon is unavailable" well my friend tried logging onto her account from my computer and it worked just fine, so I tried and it wouldnt let me on. So I called my friend who lives 2 hours away and asked her to log onto my account from her computer and it told her "my verizon it temporaily unavailable" They made so I cant log onto my account! Verizon can kiss my ass!!!!!
